Zwaptz
Two hands holding a phone up to photograph a ceramic vase on a dark table.

Appraise an item

Photograph it and Zwaptz works out what it is. If you already know, say so — a name you type beats a guess from one picture, and either route gets you a number. Nothing is shown to anyone else unless you choose to list it.

No account needed to try this. Photograph something and see what it is worth. Keeping the valuation, listing it and trading need an account — and while the campaign runs, those are for Kickstarter backers, who get five free appraisals a week on top.

Any photo your phone takes, up to 8 MB, including iPhone HEIC. Every photo is resized and re-encoded for the web, so what is stored is smaller than what you send. With a photo you can leave every other field blank; without one, tell Zwaptz what the item is and what condition it is in.

Leave it blank if you are not sure — with a photo, Zwaptz works it out and shows you what it decided.
